Gilbert is a Senior Vice President with JLL’s Industrial Advisory Practice focusing on the real estate needs of manufacturing and distribution clients.
Gilbert has over ten years of experience advising clients on site selection, investments and other matters relevant to the total operating cost of client’s facilities and investment holdings.
Gilbert’s team assists clients in their site selection process. Gilbert and his team work with these companies to help them arrive at optimal site selection solutions encompassing incentives, construction management, real estate brokerage, capitalization (debt/equity), sustainability, facilities management and network optimization.
His clients range from publicly traded companies to other organizations in the southeast and around the world. JLL’s Industrial Advisory Team works with an array of industries ranging from automotive, manufacturing, third party logistics, food/beverage and retail/e-commerce.
Gilbert’s responsibilities include exploring all the strategic and tactical drivers for a client’s location decision and ongoing operations. Conversely, he represents select investors in helping them understand the viability and attractiveness of their sites and investments.
Before joining JLL, Gilbert’s primary focus was on the capitalization and securitization of projects nationally within public and private fund structures. Gilbert studied finance and economics at Kennesaw State University. He lives with his wife Alisha and son William in Decatur, Georgia.
